There has been a bit of discussion lately on the fair practices for illustrators. Because this concerns me on many levels I have prepared a webpage with my personal guidelines. Great suggestions, Ginger. I am preparing an agreement this weekend, and I will go back and look at your guidelines to make sure I am not forgetting anything. What a helpful post.
Wow Ginger it's amazing how you always seem to come up with the best ideas. This will be helpful to so many.
Just some thoughts. These would have helped me a lot when I first started illustrating for children's books. And I refer to them even now as I get ready for the next assignment. One of the things that may not work for others is the fact that these guidelines are pointed toward digital finishes. But even so, I think they can be helpful.
