Such a beautiful image, Kate. Your work is so well drawn and rendered. Whenever I see your watercolor washes I think of all the years that I colored my illustrations with watercolor. I can't believe that I haven't used that technique for years. I would have never guessed that I would have gone 100% Photoshop because for so many years I was a die-hard traditional wet paint illustrator. I can't wait to see some illustrations from your book.

I still think at some point I want to begin doing more and more work digitally, but for now I truly have fun paintinng and drawing traditionally. It just "feels" good!
